Hollywood goes crazy for Electronic Cigarettes

What do Leonardo DiCaprio, Katherine Heigl, Johnny Depp, Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, Kevin Connelly, Twiggy, Posh Spice, Kevin Federline, Naomi Campbell, Britney Spears, Eric Roberts, Simon Cowell, Sarah Harding, Taryn Manning, Rhys Ifans, and Tom Petty have in common?

They are all famous Hollywood celebrities and have either endorsed Electronic Cigarettes like Stag Signature or have been photographed smoking one. If the stars are smoking ecigs instead of traditional tobacco cigarettes does it mean all of us ordinary folks should too?

Katherine Heigl shows David Letterman how she quit smoking by switching to Electronic Cigarettes. On September 27, 2010 the beautiful star of Knocked Up and Killers and former cast member of Grey's Anatomy Katherine Heigl surprised David Letterman and millions of viewers by sharing her struggle with smoking addiction and how she quit smoking by using Electronic Cigarettes similar to Stag Signature. She was very enthusiastic about the e-cigs which helped her quit smoking over all other smoking cessation methods she had already tried but did not work. "I tried everything," she said. "I did the patch, I did the gum...and went bananas." Even the prescription drug Chantix didn't do the trick.

After showing the audience how Electronic Cigarettes work, she passed her precious electronic cigarette to Letterman, who took a few puffs. Clearly enjoying himself, he blew smoke rings before handing it back. "This is incredible," he said. David Letterman is an ex-smoker. "it's not bad for you!" Katherine replied. As it turns out, she's not the only one in love with products like Stag's Signature an elegant, sleek e-cig mode.

The Electronic Cigarettes do represent a newer high tech, environmentally and socially friendly way to get your Nicotine fix but without the harmful toxins that exist in the smoke from the cigarettes. Although you can save up to $7 per pack by switching to these vaporsticks, I am sure these guys are not doing it to save money. FDA has not approved these devices but many medical experts including the Doctors on the CBS show "Doctors" feel that this could be a better option for 46 million Americans who smoke today.
