Remodeling can add value and attraction to a home whether it is the home's exterior, kitchen, bathrooms, entertainment room or master bedroom suite. The added value is seldom going to be equal to the amount of money spent on the remodel, so caution is advised for homeowners who think all the funds they spend on a remodeling project will be returned to them when they sell a home. When keeping the home that has been newly purchased, a homeowner will consider making changes they want to live with. Personalizing a newly purchased home is much like personalizing a new home that is being custom built, but differs with the end result slightly. Remodeling allows a homeowner to choose what they want done, rather than picking an option provided by a builder.
