This wireless home security system works very simply. Whenever a window/door sensor or motion detector is triggered, the alarm sounds and a signal is sent to the base unit.

"The base unit then dials the first of five preset telephone numbers programmed by the homeowner. The person that answers the call will hear the prerecorded alert message. The person that answers will then have the option to listen in on the room, broadcast their voice through the base unit, or disarm the system. If there is no answer with the first call or the system is not disarmed, the base unit dials the next number on the list."
