Honor Hanukkah With The Ideal Hanukkah Party Invitations

When formal or personal, Hanukkah Party Invitations can be very beautiful

.

The colors to use are mainly white, blue and silver, gold accents look nice too. Handmade Hanukkah party invitations allow the host or hostess to express themselves and will be cherished by the guests.

A particularly beautiful and heartfelt invitation can be made with medium to light blue, light weight card stock, white copier/printer paper, silver ribbon, a silver gel pen, scissors, and a hole-punch. The idea is to make a little booklet that will be held together with the ribbon. Divide the card stock into sized rectangles that would fit in an envelope. Envelopes luckily come in all sizes. Blue envelopes in particular work well for Hanukkah Party Invitations.

After finding the right sized envelope, measure and design a rectangle on the blue card stock that will fit into the envelope. Keep this first rectangle as the template. Next cut rectangular shapes from the rest of the card stock, two for each booklet. Then cut rectangles from the white printer paper that are approximately inch smaller on all sides than the blue card stock. Leave one inch of blank space on the left side of a piece of blue card stock and write a greeting like "Happy Hanukkah" using the silver gel pen. Put four to six sheets of the white paper together. Now, sandwich the white paper between the piece of card stock with the Hanukkah greeting on it and a blank piece of card stock. Make sure the card stock with the greeting is on top and line up all the pieces so that it looks like a little booklet with no white pages sticking out.

Then punch two holes along the left edge in the direction of the center, about two inches apart. Take the pages apart and use the silver gel pen to write the party information on the first two white pages. On the other pages write the story of Hanukkah. Once that is done put the booklet back together, with the white pages between the two blue pages and the greeting on top. Cut a piece of silver ribbon and thread it through the two holes so that the two ends of the ribbon are both on the front of the booklet. Tie the two end pieces of ribbon into a pretty bow and slip the Hanukkah Party Invitation into the blue envelope.

The guests will be pleasantly amazed at this handmade booklet. It will be one of the most unique Hanukkah party invitations they have ever received.
