Combine this with the chance that this would give to the population to get some exercise on their way to and from work, and you would be hard pressed to deny the influence this would have on the country.

Something that bodes well for the realisation of this dream is the increasing number of employers who are looking at ways to encourage this type of behaviour amongst their staff members. Many companies have seen a space in their salary packages to offer hard to turn down cycle scheme.
