How Are You Outsourcing Your Blogging?
In todays video, Im happy to share with you one of the most important tips with regards to outsourcing and automation. While blogging remains popular and effective in the online marketing industry, it may also give you tedious work once youve got more projects down the track.
So I wanted to share with you how I go about a lot of my blog mostly, administration type of things. Obviously for me, I am in front of the camera right now, you can see and Im doing a video blog right now. But the thing is, theres a lot that goes on behind from getting this video up onto the Internet so that its published on my blog and marketing and getting onto your email inbox or wherever youre seeing this video. And, I want to share with you how powerful it is once youve got these systems setup because it can leverage and also expand your time to be able to do a lot more things.
How Do I Outsource My Video Blogging?
Say for example right now, Im recording a 5-minute video right now probably less than an hour or even more than that, and once Ive done that all I have to do is hook it up to my computer, download these files and let the rest be automated or all outsourced by my virtual assistant and shell take it from there step by step onto getting online for me. So imagine taking say usually an hour to get one blog post onto the Internet, itll only take me 5 to 10 minutes or so and how powerful is that? I actually get back a lot more time. So enough of me sharing with you about what happens there and how long it takes. I just want to give you the tips on how that works.
What I do is once I finish recording, I download this file into the computer, and once its downloaded into the computer I have it automatically uploaded onto the Internet and I send a little ticket which is via my project management system to my virtual assistant and say to them look, can you please take this file and upload it onto the Internet and go through and transcribe it for me. And once its transcribed, put it all on the blog and publish it and distribute it all throughout the Internet. And thats basically how simple it is and how simple it is to do though it does take time because it is all a very administrative backend type of thing to do. So the most powerful thing that I can recommend to do is to firstly find yourself a virtual assistant and train them on how to do that.
I myself have created probably about a 5-step process in one video showing my virtual assistant how to take this video and put it up onto my blog and publish it the way I wanted it to be published. That way, she can also filter all those things for me and have it all setup for me.
Other Blogging Tasks
The other thing is apart from getting it published and put onto the blog, I obviously get a lot of comments on my blog and someones going to monitor and manage those. And I let my virtual assistant do that as well, too. She goes through, approves the comments and also makes sure theres no spam or any verbal abuse on my blog so therefore she cuts them all out for me too. And, I already got training videos in place for her.
So you can imagine the power of actually getting those things done and having it all outsourced for you and speeding up your time for blogging. If youre a blogger out there that likes to type in and getting them online, thats cool. I got absolute no problem with that. But, imagine if youve typed up your little document and say you write 5 or 6 or 7 of them and youve typed them all up, all you have to do is send them over to your virtual assistant in a document format and get them to format it all for you. And that saves you a lot of time as well, too.
I think one last thing I just wanted to mention for people who are wanting to setup a blog and to get a nice design and set it up really nice to get it out there so people can come and read your blog, I highly highly recommend you get someone to setup the technical aspects e.g. such as designing the website, setting up all the plugins, all those kind of things.
Just outsource all that work because it really, really saves you a lot of time. Not having to spend it yourself because really, youre not making any money from setting up the blog or developing a blog or designing a blog. Your most powerful forms of actually making income from the blog is really writing really good content, interacting with your community members, and potentially getting them onto a newsletter and selling or offering products to them.
Outsourcing Increases Your Capability to Focus on Earning!
And thats I think where if youre going to focus on becoming a successful blogger, you really, really need to outsource all these adminstrative type of tasks which people dont see behind the scenes. All they see is when they get to the blog is whats this content here which is what youre watching right now on my video. And if youre seeing this content then thats great thats all that people really care about. They dont care about how you get it up onto it. All they care is, is the content good or if its not good at all and usually youll get feedback from that comments.
I hope that you can see the power of outsourcing your blogging and you may think yeah, I cant really quite afford it at this point in time but if its going to only cost you a dollar or $2 an hour, and you get few hours worth of work from someone, its not that much. And it would save you so much more time and also the hassle of having to do it yourself and you can focus on creating really, really good content. And thats how a lot of successful bloggers do it out there.
