You should be eating off of a plate, not out of a sack. You will eat less food and feel more satisfied. You will not feel a gnawing urge to snack because you have not eaten a meal all day.

Cook only what you will eat. Do not cook for tomorrow to save time. Cook a single portion for each person that will be at each meal. This way you will avoid the temptation to eat the left over food. In addition, your family will learn healthy eating habits.


Get up and eat breakfast at home before you leave for work. If you get up early enough, you will not feel rushed or tempted to grab something on the way to work. Some women skip breakfast. Do not do this. You will end up eating more calories eventually, during trips to the snack machine. Either that or you will have no energy, thus feeling blah.

Buy easy breakfast foods. Fruit, yogurt, and a slice of toast would be a healthy, balanced start to the day. Most diets suggest drinking at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day. The thought of drinking a half gallon of water can make some queasy, but there are ways to spice it up a bit. Try flavored


bottled water. Store it in the fridge at work. Always keep water on your desk. At home, try putting mint sprigs or lemon in a pitcher. There will be no added calories, but it will look nice and taste better.

Losing baby weight can be frustrating. You surely want to burn the belly fat as quickly as possible, but your body is not be too excited about doing so. Your body is supposed to nourish your child for nearly a year after you give birth. Starving the body to burn fat, will cause it to switch into survival mode, making it very hard to lose extra weight. Do not fight your body. It is natural for it to create energy stores for your baby. Just eat healthy foods and increase your level of activity. If you are breastfeeding, your body will need up to 1000 more calories a day than usual. Do not skip eating - you will only convince your body that it is starving.

Try to burn fat with a buddy for moral support. Having a friend to exercise helps. It will make it easier for both of you to reach your goals. Instead of meeting friends to eat, meet friends to play tennis or to walk in the park together. Living a healthy, active lifestyle, and eating nutritious foods, are the true keys to burn fat permanently. By choosing a proper diet for you, it will be easier for you to burn the fat, and keep it off forever.
