Well, burning candles scented with Chamomile or Sage does the same thing.

Now, as far as the particular kind of candle making wax which binds the best with fragrances...candle makers have varying opinions. The two most popular choices are either paraffin or soy wax, or a combination of the two. The key here is adding the fragrance to the wax when it is at the highest temperature during the melting process, that being 180 degrees Fahrenheit. In doing so, you will have candles that hold their scent for longer periods of time, and put out the maximum amount of scent when burned.
