How Do I Get a Guy to Like Me? Great Tips You Can Use Right Away to Get a Guy to Like You a Lot

Perhaps a more apt title would be "Get a guy to like me for me"; but, you already knew that, right? We also know a stud when we see one-that is mere instinct. That said, we generally know not to attempt to seduce every hot guy that crosses our path. After all, not all of us are superficial, gold-digging . So, I invite you to this little exercise that I like to refer to as "hook-and-bait". As simple as it sounds, you will be surprised at the potential intricacy of this tactic.

Be Yourself!

You are not trying to impress anybody except for one person, and even with him it is best left to a minimum. Nothing is gained by putting on excessive makeup, hanging all over him when he is clearly not interested, and sporting a fake sense of humor. There are plenty of other faux pas items in that category that should be common sense.

Show Confidence and Exhibit a Sense of Mystery

When I say show confidence, this does not mean throwing yourself on him, nor does it mean keeping a "snooty" and/or sarcastic attitude. Keep a very good balance in confidence and humbleness. This will go a long, long ways in getting a respectable man. Also, it is very rare that you want to volunteer too much information about yourself in the first couple of "dates", or meetings. If he is truly interested, he will show it and find out more about you on his own.

Finding Rapport Is Crucial

Unless you are in the market for a short-term fling (in which case you probably should not be concentrating on this article), discovering at least a couple of things you and Romeo have in common will go a long ways in helping to determine if he is the right fit. Also, during conversations, the guy who is truly interested will be much more interested in you and what you are about, and much less focused on himself and his life.

Non-Verbal Communication

This one should be emphasized with all-caps and rightly so. Making eye-contact with him cannot be overstated enough. Once he catches your alluring gaze, quickly look away. Feel free to do this several times and make sure you are sporting an alluring smile all-the-while. This is part of the mystery that surrounds you and that a willing guy will take heed in. Never, ever stare, though. Do not question it, just do not it-you should know why.

Exchange Bodies

This is of course not to be taken literally; instead, taken with an open mind. Try to put yourself in the guy's shoes. What might you be thinking? What do you want/need in a partner? Do this, but not at the expense of being pretentious or superficial.

I Need My Space, Girl

This applies to men just as much as it applies to women. You are obviously going to give him hints that you are interested in him (the batting eyes, seemingly innocuous bumping into him or rubbing off on him, having a sense of humor with him while be yourself, etc.); however, everything in moderation! Sending the possible Romeo a text every 5 minutes, or constantly exhibiting clues that you could be a jealous mate, or likewise will be, essentially, an instant turnoff.

Go It Solo

Most guys are going to feel less intimidated, less shy around a girl who is alone or with substantially fewer people. If you have your girl clique all around you, you will do best to get them to retreat and scatter. With the curious onlookers, not only are you more likely to give a false impression of yourself, but he also is more likely to shy away from you on a really personal level. Think of it as him thinking to himself "Okay, I've got to put on a little show as not to possibly offend anybody, and possibly make myself look like more or less of the person I really am".
