When considering ending a relationship with your partner, it goes without saying that you are faced with an extremely difficult decision. After spending time, and sharing feelings with another person, it's simply not easy to say goodbye. This is true whether you've been together for only a few months, or many years.
Instead of
stopping a break up from happening, many people give up on their relationships without really trying to work things out. Unfortunately, because it can be hard, many couples call it quits instead of working to fix relationship problems and get back together. Still some couples suffer through problem after problem refusing to call it quits. These "gluttons for punishment" continue to take back their partners over and over again, despite real relationship problems such as; cheating, addictions and abuse. Top Reasons To Break Up: An obvious reason to end a relationship is abuse, both physical and mental. If you don't feel safe, if a partner is abusive, you must get out now. No if and or buts! Another blatant sign that it's time to end a relationship are addiction problems. Because an addicts number one priority is to satisfy their addiction, people will go to extreme lengths to get their next fix. When in a relationship with an addicted person, the hurt and pain can often become beyond repair. The are also some "not so" obvious reasons to break up. For example, if a partner makes a "one-time" mistake (like cheating) some people are unable to get past the pain and negativity the one-time indiscretion has caused.
More Signs That It's Time To End a Relationship: Unwillingness, or inability to make necessary changes. Having tried (really tried!) to work things out but are unable to repair a relationship. Refusal to acknowledge problems in a relationship. A falling out of love. Are there times when ending a relationship may be for the best? Yes, of course. However, if abusive behavior or addictions are not a factor, and both you and your partner are still in love, then repairing a relationship and
getting back together is the best solution.About the Author:
