How Does The Rack All-in-one Exercise Machine Work?
The Rack is a simple home exercise gym that is compact
, portable, and versatile. Here you will learn how it works, and how it's used.
This exercise machine weighs either 23 or 30 lbs, depending on the model, and it is made of steel. The 23 lb version can support up to 250 lbs, while the 30 lb model can support up to 300. It is simple in design.
The Rack workout machine folds into 3 different positions and can be be used like a free weight for weightlifting exercises. This means in total there are 4 different ways it can be used. The 3 different positions it can be placed in are; standing, flat, and bench.
While it is in the bench position, it can be used for an assortment of push-ups and core exercises that target your abdominals and obliques. There are many grip positions for different styles of push-ups. Push-ups work the chest, shoulders, and triceps muscles.
In the standing position, The Rack can be used for assisted lunges for working the leg muscles, and dips, which will work the triceps, chests and shoulders. It can also be used for a few core exercises while in this position.
After folding, it can be placed in the flat position. There are four wheels built onto the frame. While in the flat position, these wheels come into contact with the ground, allowing it to roll. This makes it possible to do sliding lunges, for exercising the leg muscles, and ab rollouts, which are an extremely difficult abdominal and core exercise.
Aside from these different positions making it possible to do a variety of bodyweight exercises, The Rack can also be used like a free weight. This makes it so it can be used for many different weightlifting exercises that target the shoulders, back, biceps, and triceps. It can also be held during squats, which work the leg muscles.
What about the specific workout program for The Rack? How does that work? Well, the workout DVDs are included with the package. It is simply a matter of watching them and doing your best to follow along. There are several workouts that each serve a different purpose. There's a workout for the arms, upper body, abs, and there's a couple full-body workouts as well.
The workouts utilize the concept called Zone Progression Training. Basically, it's a training method that helps get more out of a workout in a shorter period of time.
