Your wife is an amazing woman. You don't need me to tell YOU that. But even amazing women have their limits. When your marriage is on the line after your wife found out you've been cheating you need to take the time to do a little digging.

The one thing you need to know more than anything else is this: how does your wife REALLY feel about your cheating? Finding that out requires a few things from you.

Talk to Your Wife

It might be a little out of character. It may even be a little beyond your personal comfort zone. BUT, you are going to have to go out of your way to TALK to your wife.

I KNOW, most men go to great lengths to avoid those heart to heart conversations in marriage but this is one time when you cannot afford to find out what's on her mind and in her heart.

Unfortunately for you, this is also the ONE time in your marriage where your wife is oddly silent. She might still be talking to you but she's keeping her conversations light and really guarding what she does and doesn't say.

While the may lead to fewer fights between the two of you (which probably feels like a GOOD thing at the moment), it isn't productive for your efforts to save your marriage at all.

Hear What Your Wife Has to Say

The second half of this though is that you have to LISTEN and really hear what your wife has to say. You need to know how she feels about your cheating.

But you need to know a LOT more than that. You need to find out how she feels about you. You need to know where she believes your marriage stands.

Most of all, you NEED to hear how your cheating made her feel about HERSELF! If you want to save your marriage and don't want to have to go through the heartache of trying to get your ex back in the future you need to learn this important fact.

Why?

Because the only way to make your wife feel secure in your marriage is to make her see herself as the bright, beautiful, vibrant, and lively person you see her as. When you cheated on her, you took some of that away and she began to doubt herself as someone WORTHY of your love.

For your marriage to work you not only have to convince her that you're deeply sorry for the hurt that you caused her but you also have to convince her that she DESERVES your love.
