The popular sitcom series that has won acclaims and awards for its irresisting humour, panache and a lovable romantic plot line - How I Met Your Mother seasons one 1 to 6 list as the all time favourite of many a number of persons, regardless of their age groups. The show that was first telecasted in 2005, on CBS, is a brainchild of creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. It is supposedly to have been based loosely on their lives.

The show features Josh Randor as Ted Mosby, a father in the year 2030, relating his story to his two children, of how he came to be acquainted with their mother, which gives the television series its name of How I Met Your Mother. The chief actors who played the leads in the show other than Josh Randor are Jason Segel as Marshall Eriksen, Cobie Smulders as Robin Scherbatsky, Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson and Alyson Hannigan as Lily Aldrin, besides guest appearances by Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias.

How I met your mother seasons one to six interprets the ups and down of relationships in a funny and enlivening light of Ted Mosby, who is apparently working as an architect. Ted is thrown into concerns over his own future when his two best friends Marshall and Lily plan to tie the knot, thereon, he gets into his own quest to seek for his better half. Interestingly, he lands up being friends with Barney a non-committal womanizer.

Here begins the fun ride as Ted hooks up with one woman after other and all the time getting into tight stops generating some seriously comic situations. The narration unfolds, as the future Ted keeps relating to his past.
