I am a 25 year old recent college grad who, like many other people my age
, couldn't find a job during the recession so I got creative instead. I've found several different methods to making money online that actually work. In this article I'll tell you a little bit about one of my methods.
After tinkering with flipping things on Craigslist a little bit in college, I decided to take it up full time and see how things works out. I've been flipping things for about a year now can freely admit that I am almost certainly happier than I would have been had I found a 'real' job.
One of the easiest ways I've found is by reselling things off of Craigslist. The trick to this is to search for items for sale that are undervalued. Some things in particular that are quite often undervalued are furniture and other large household things. Many times you can find people trying to get rid of their old leather couch because they just got a new one that is being delivered tomorrow. These are the ads you are looking for. You want to find the sellers that are desperate to get rid of their stuff right now. I've picked up several nice couches this way for around $100 and resold them days later for up to $600.
The best way to find these great deals is by searching for a few key words. I've found that these desperate to sell people often put phrases like "asap" or "must sell" in their description. Those are the keywords you are going to search for. Pick any category you want and search for those phrases. The end of the month when rent is coming due is always a good time to be looking for these deals.
