Everyone knows that sometimes, it can take a very long time to get listed on google
. It is usually a pretty involved process and usually it will take some work. But there are other times when you can get listed fairly quickly. I have personally been able to get listed on google within a few hours. There are a few things that will determine how long it will take though.
One thing that can determine how long it takes is how many backlinks you have pointing to your website. If you don't have any links then your site will most likely not show up on google anytime soon. You have to have backlinks pointing to your site in order to gain what's called link popularity and also so your site looks relevant in the eyes of the search engines. You will not get listed on google if you don't either put in the work to create backlinks from submitting articles and videos or find a service that sells backlinks.
Another thing that will speed up the process is targeting a keyword with low competition. If you find a keyword or search term with low competition the you will be able to rank a lot faster then targeting a keyword with 100,000 competing websites. What you want to do is find a long tail keyword that is made up of at least 3 to 4 words then check the competition by typing it into google with quotation marks. Don't target keywords that have over 50,000 competing pages because it will take you a lot longer to get listed on google.
The biggest suggestion that I could give is to use a Web 2.0 site that google likes to list fast with a low competition keyword along with creating your backlinks in order to speed up the process of getting listed on google. And don't stop at just one Web 2.0 site, create as many as you can without spamming, then bookmark them using Social Bookmarking sites.
When you put all of theses things into place you can market just about anything online and you can get listed a lot faster then your competitors will. This is how you can completely dominate an online market. The reason is, not only will your site get listed but your Web 2.O sites will get listed as well and provide backlinks to your site.
