With their first job, a teen will get the opportunity to start making a resume and the first job provides real life experiences that are important for future success. A job isn't only a means of earning money: it also provides a teen a way to learn about responsibility.

At some point we all have our first job and the earlier we get one, the sooner we can start to learn the things we need to learn. If it happens that this horrible economy persists for years, what impact will that have on teens once they eventually do get a job? Will they know how to work well with colleagues and managers? Will they understand what is expected of them and how to behave in a work environment?

At present, evidently our society is faced with the chance of a era of younger people who will not have had the possibility to develop appropriate job skills. Ultimately, this may impression them negatively - and in addition the employers who will in the future rent them. This will change their lives in a lot of ways, as they will finally have to regain misplaced floor from the years when they tried to but could not get a job.
