How Many Ways Can I Treat My Yeast Infection Naturally?
So you have a yeast infection, now what? Many times women are unsure even what a yeast infection really is
. The simple answer is that a yeast infection is nothing more than too much bacteria growth inside of the vagina, this is not a reflection of your personal hygiene but it can be caused by certain aspects of your lifestyle.
Life style changes: simple life style changes can make a world of difference when it comes to preventing infections. Things that should ultimately be avoided are staying in your wet bathing suit for too long, wearing tight clothes and wearing undergarments that are made of non breathable material.
Dietary changes: I was shocked to find out that what we eat has a direct influence on yeast infections! If you eat foods that have sugar, fungus or even yeast in them you are actually feeding your yeast infection and making them worse. You shouldn't eat them when you have an infection.
Cranberry juice- cranberries have lots of anti oxidants that fight infections so be sure that you drink some every day.
Garlic- is fantastic as it's very inexpensive and it works well in either of the ways that it can be used. If you eat it, it could be cooked or raw. Otherwise you could always crush it and apply it to the area that hurts.
Yogurt- this is another favorite of mine as again it's easy to use. Just take a tampon and dip it into some plain organic yogurt that is sugar free and place it into your vagina for a few minutes. You also have the option of eating it in large amounts or even applying it to the skin around the infection.
Lastly, you can literally soak your infection away. Just add one or two cups of apple cider vinegar to bath water that is warm. All you have to do is relax and let your body heal.
If you think that you have a yeast infection but you are unsure if it really is one, be sure to go to your doctor before you start any treatment plan.
