How Pizza Delivery Can Bring Joy To A Busy Day

Even with all of this technology that is supposed to make our lives easier

, it seems every day is a little more complex than the last. At the end of a long day using computers, updating your social networks, catching up with your telephonic correspondence, and somehow picking your kids up from school, the last thing you want to do is make dinner. This is where pizza delivery can be a godsend. If you've cut such niceties out of your life because you want to be supermom (or dad), it might be time to sit back and bring some joy to a busy day.

Free Up Time

Unless you're idea of making dinner involves tossing some instant oatmeal into the microwave, you're looking at an hour from start to finish when it comes to making dinner for your kids. That's on a good night. If you are feeding the whole family, it could take even longer. Ordering pizza takes approximately two minutes, one of which is spent looking for the phone number to the place. Is it realistic or healthy to do that for dinner every night? Maybe not, but how realistic and healthy is it to burn the candle at both ends every day for months on end? You need to know when you need a break.

Shopping

The reason many parents eschew ordering pizza on a regular basis is the cost. If you're on a budget, you're accustomed to spending exactly this amount or that amount at the grocery store and then that's all you have to spend on food for the week. Granted, ordering a good pie from a nice place might cost a bit more than what it would cost to make a roast in the oven, but you can always plan for these nights when doing your shopping. You may even be able to cut back on your cereal budget, as kids love nothing more than cold pizza for breakfast. Adults, too, for that matter!

Guests

Kids love to have their friends over for dinner, but who wants to add that burden to their duties in the kitchen? Plus, if little Johnny is over at your house a couple of times a week, why should you always be the one who has to pay to feed the neighbor's kid? It would be weird to ask his mom to chip in for your grocery bill, but there's nothing wrong with asking for ten bucks to cover a pizza. If you meet resistance, maybe little Johnny should eat at home from now on.
