Making money as a Realtor in this market is one of the most difficult times I have ever had to face. Changing a few things in my life made these times much more tolerable and recession proof. The following article might help you as well.

If you are like me the real estate market has really begun to get on your last nerve.I have been a real estate agent for almost thirty years and of course no one stays in it that long unless they have been making money.Even so the yoyo living that it provides can be a bit stressful.I began to wonder how realtors can make money online while the market is slow.I am so thankful that I found an online business to fill the gap and turn this down time to productive time.

Being a real estate agent can be a tough way to make a living.I can think of many times that I probably made less than ten dollars an hour because of the countless homes I had to show before I ever made it to the closing table.Not to mention the deals I wrote that never saw a closing or the customers I catered to that never bought anything from me.Lets face it for the most part it is a thankless job.Trading time for money is no way to get ahead that is, for sure.I had to figure out how realtors could make money online while the market is slow. I know I sound like I dislike being a Realtor and I really do not dislike it, I just had to change the way I conducted my business to make it more acceptable to me.

My online business has allowed me to do that.Now, I only work with people whom I like and get along with, who respect the value of my time, respect me and in return do not waste my time.

Think about the way that you spend your time on a daily basis.Are the hours all spent on productive activities?Or are many hours being wasted on nonproductive activities.I call these nonproductive activities time thieves.What I mean by this is that sometimes we can all get caught up on spending the majority of our time on nonproductive interruptions or side bars.The productive activities are the only ones that are making us money.

That is why I decided that I needed an online business that I could spend productive time on when there was nothing happening with the real estate business.You could do this as well if you wanted to.

The really cool thing about this change in my life is that it has made me much more conscious of the time thieves in real estate and therefore I have become much more efficient in that as well. Now, when I am out showing property my online business is working for me too.Also, when I am sleeping, playing, or enjoying my family my online business is hard at work for me.It is so nice to know that I have this other opportunity building, while I am trading my time for money.

I cannot think of any service our society as a whole needs more than they need this.
