If you're keen on fashion, then you may have also been informed very much of today's fashion was inspired from the clothes from long ago. Thus, if you're not exactly looking forward to renaissance dresses, you might not appreciate how it has influenced today's fashion sense.

For starters, you need to realize that admittedly, perhaps the people in the 16th century knew the way to dress well. Should you take a look at paintings' and portraits that depict their lifestyle then, both women and men, both new and experienced, rich and poor where clad in clothes that looked good to them. And mind you, few people shared the same social status and not these were able to buy expensive clothes too. Yet, they maintained a distinct fashion sense and no matter how poor or rich we were holding then, we were holding still capable of dress nicely.

Another component that In my opinion had always come into play in putting on a costume is social status. In the event you remember it correctly, the people of the renaissance era were known to dress in accordance with their wealth, importance in society and their social status. Thus, certain fabrics and colours where tied to poor people because they were made acquireable towards the rich. This inspired what we know today as Tudor clothing.

But how performs this all come into play?

Browse around and when you'll notice, aren't all our clothes, intentionally or unintentionally, a reflection in our own social status, much more of our wealth? Why is it that business men wear tux and socialites wear cocktail dresses while ordinary people are used to using shirts and pants?
