How Talking Dirty Can Save A Relationship

Learning to talk dirty might seem like something you will never master

. You might have tried it in the past and felt embarrassed or even dirty. You might be the kind who was always taught to never say bad words, much less to someone you care about - and the moment you do, you're afraid all hell is going to break loose.

Don't worry - you're not the only one who feels that way! But you can break free of those deep fears of dirty talk. With a little time and patience, talking dirty to your partner will become easier. Soon you will be saying whatever you want to say - and your partner will love the new, uninhibited you!

Do you have trouble saying dirty words? Start learning how to talk dirty by locking yourself in a room all by yourself, where no one can hear you, and say those naughty words out loud. Say anything that comes to mind. Remember that dirty phrase you heard in college, the one that made you blush? Say it! Remember the things you read in that racy novel? Repeat them out loud! Remember, it's just you in the room, so you can say anything and nobody will know. Try it until you can say the dirty words you crave without blushing up a storm.

Then try those dirty words out on your partner. Ease into it - you might not be ready to go all-out with the naughtiness, but you can use just one word and see what happens. Even if the word is relatively tame, like "hot" or "sexy" or "hard," it's a good start. "You make me so hot" is a good way to begin. "You're the sexiest lover I can imagine" is another. "I love making you hard" is an even better one!

Once you've eased into the "tamer" words a bit, you can start spicing things up even more. What words turn you on the most? What naughty phrases make your heart pound? Which ones make you want to jump your partner, right then and there? Focus on those and the next time you're in bed together, say them. Whisper them if you have to. If you are more comfortable saying them in utter darkness, do it. Whatever it takes, as long as you are saying them!
