Therefore, any thing that demands the input of all the members of a team can work wonders by creating a good team spirit, & mutual understanding. Same is with cooking activity; by organizing a team cooking event, one can create a light mood of the environment and can experiment a lot with it.

Lets have a look at what all can be done to spice up the team cooking event:

Idea 1:

Plan a weekend with all the team members to a country side. This would be like a picnic, where all the members would get to spend quality time with each other and on the same time invest in something lucrative. The combo of countryside & cooking event can be real refreshment from the hectic schedule.

In order to organize team building events, one can plan a healthy cooking competition among the team members. The team can be divided into two and asked to prepare food on a certain theme. This would encourage brainstorming session and require the whole team to work together.

Now, this is quite innovative idea in which the organizers can arrange for corporate treasure hunt for food. This requires some planning in which cooking ingredients can be hidden at various places, which the team members have to find out by certain clues. This can be made more interesting by increasing the difficulty level of the game, as in, the members can only go to next level of the clue if they could solve the previous level in certain decided time. But, in this, planning for hiding ingredients, making clues & other things needs to be done properly.

Implementing these ideas in building a team can greatly helps in various parameters. For instance:

Such events improve the communication flow. The skills for problem, solving, listening working in coordination get improved.

The team members learn to set certain goals for themselves. Such activities even make them find the path that leads to achievement of set objectives.

Get involved in such activities greatly heightens the creativity factor. The team learns to work creatively on a particular subject.

Whenever a team works together it achieves certain results. If the results are satisfactory & matches the expectations of the team members, then the trust factor automatically gets build. This helps them in handling the any sort of project with confidence.

Last but not the least, such team building activities encourages healthy relationships among the members. If the team is healthy and can compliments each other then handling any task with perfection get easier.
