Since the change of the RC helicopter from the ones that have a complete independent

pitch control to the electrical helicopter, there has been a great need of helicopter training program. This is because the complete independent pitch controllers which were also known as the fixed pitch did not have a very complex control system compared to the current electrical helicopter. This electrical helicopter was made with a complex control system so that they could perform complex tasks that the fixed pitch could not do.

It is extremely hard for someone who has never controlled any helicopter to control the electrical RC helicopter. That is why this kind of helicopter is considered to be for advanced users only. On the other hand the fixed pitch helicopter has the simplest control system. Though most people cannot control it very well for the first time even after reading the guidebook, it is still easy to learn and after a few hours with serious training one can easily fly it on his own. This is not the same with the electrical one which needs one to practice for about two to three consecutive days before they can fly it on their own comfortably.

Controlling the electrical helicopter requires a longer duration since they have some extra features that the fixed RC helicopter does not have. Controlling the pitch of the electrical helicopter is the hardest part since one has to balance the angle of the blades according to the flow of the air. This change is what determines the altitude which the helicopter is going to reach. The pitch is normally found in the main blades. The reason for it being in the main blade is because the main blade has a large surface area which assists to make it easily carried by the air when the paddles push it forward.

In the electrical helicopter there is a printed circuit board which combines all the other systems like the gyro receiver and the motor electronic speed controller. In the RC helicopter it serves as a pitch mixer. This allows it to easily change the pitch and gain the altitude that one wants easily. This is used especially in circumstances where there is great need to change the pitch of the helicopter so as to avoid accidents.

Before one goes to master how to fly the RC helicopter it is sensible to know how all this parts function. It gives one an added advantage of recognizing where the helicopter is faulty and can immediately fix it before it takes off. This reduces the risk of the breakdown of the helicopter while it is in the air hence causing a major destruction. It also helps one greatly when choosing the kind of helicopter that one is going to purchase before you buy them. This is because one will be able to identify the one that works well from the one that is out of commission and with this ability one will one will not be conned into acquisitioning what is not right only because they were told by the vendor that it is the best.
