How To Advertise Your Website Successfully

If you have read any articles, blogs, or sales pages online you would have noticed that 99% of Internet Marketers have a story

. It's usually a story of being broke or being made redundant that they turned to the Internet to try and make money. Unfortunately for many it ends in tears and a lot more debt than when they started. This is because they buy into every program, buy every ebook and end up with so much information that they don't know where to start first and ultimately end up failing. I know because I was one of those people but luckily I'm not the kind that gives up easily. I found that when it came down to it most of the information I was reading was mostly rehashed from older information I had read. My advice to any budding Internet Marketer just starting out is to get into a routine, stick to one project until you suceed then move onto the next and be consistent in your promoting.

YOUR INTERNET MARKETING JOURNEY

I barely knew how to switch a computer on let alone know how to advertise a website. Well actually I barely knew what a website was and I certainly didn't know that I didn't have to build a website myself. I remember doing alot of ebook reading and alot of spending on my credit card but if I'm honest with you I didn't understand any of it. Fast forward another 2 years, I hadn't earned anything and I was on the verge of giving up. After a few days of weighing up the pros and cons I decided to start all over again. I emptied my computer of all the crappy ebooks I had collected over 2 years and got myself a system.

HOW DO I ADVERTISE MY WEBSITE


Initially I didn't have my own websites, instead I became an affiliate at Clickbank, its great because I get to choose the programs I want to promote, below is the order I used to do things:-

(1) Find a product on Clickbank to promote

(2) Get myself a 2yr old + keyword rich domain name from Godaddy Auctions and forward it to my product link

(3) I write an article on a topic which relates to the product I am promoting, I spin it into about 30 variations of my main article and submit them to as many sites as possible.

(4) I am a member of many Safelists which I use, I also use a few submitters that send my ads to trillions of people.

(5) Basically I advertised everywhere and anywhere that was free.

I started to see some results, finally there was some cash coming in, not a lot but enough to keep me motivated. The problem was I was doing at least 10 hours a day in advertising and that can be very de-motivating. Things did get better because I reinvested the money I was making to shorten my advertising time so this is the order I do things now:-

(1) Find a product to promote

(2) Find myself a keyword rich domain at auction and forward it to my product link

(3) Write an article on a topic which relates to the product I am promoting then I spin it

(4) Pay a company to submit my articles all over the Internet

(5) Turn my article into a video via the website I am a member of, then they submit it to the top video sites

(6) I write some blogs and comment on other peoples blogs leaving my link for people to click on

(7) I then create lots of backlinks by linking everything together via a google link wheel

(8) I ping and submit my rss feeds which is all done with a cracking bit of software


(9) I learn at least 1 new traffic source a day and at the moment that is Social Network Sites

This is certainly quicker than the way I did it before but every marketers dream is that it was push the button once automation for everything. Product developers have been trying for years to develop something like this but it isn't until now that they have suceeded. This is an exciting time for us marketers and indeed business owners.

In order to be successfull at this you need to be in the right mindset. It can be very lonely working at home on your own and it's very easy to become lazy in your marketing efforts. You won't make any money if you are not consistent in your promoting. You need to promote daily, make yourself known on the Internet, build relationships with other marketers because most of them will help you. Don't be shy because you are about to enter a truely remarkable world.
