How To Change A Car Tyre

Sometimes the worst things can happen at the worst time of the day

. You may feel your dreaming or have some sort of bad luck. Things happen to people on a daily basis and it can be frustrating. However, for some it can be depressing when you consequently have to experience having a flat tyre on the side of the road or freeway. No one expects to have a flat tyre, sometimes it just happens. Yes, flat tyres can happen when you least expect it to, but no need to worry about not knowing how to. I'm going to take you through the steps and give some great tips on how to successfully change a car tyre within the quickest amount of time.

The Main Things You Will Need

- Tyre

- Jack

- Socket

Step One:

Take the 'jack' and jack up your car carefully. Always make sure that the hand brake is pulled to keep your car from moving while you are in the process of changing the tyre.

Step Two:

Carefully remove the hubcap. You can use a screw driver or wrench to push the cap off.

Step Three:

After you have taken off the hubcaps, you will need to take off the lug nuts. These nuts hold the tyre in place. Remember to place the bolts somewhere where they dont roll. Your pocket is the safest place.

TIP- If you loose any bolts you can be in even more trouble as they hold up your tyre.

Step Four:

Most cars have spare tyres that can be found in the trunk, usually hidden. If you don't have one then of course you can't change your tyre. However, if you do take the old tyre off by pulling it toward you until it slides off.

Step Five:

The exact same way you took it off, you will need to put the spare one on. Take your time as it takes patients to line it up right to make sure its not uneven.

VERY IMPORTANT TIP- DO NOT PLACE ANY BOLTS BACK ON UNTIL YOU HAVE THE TYRE EVENLY IN PLACE.

Step Six:

Once you have them in place, you will need to insert the nuts and tighten them up carefully.

Step Seven:

Last, lower your jack and the car will start to fall back to the ground slowly. Now, you're ready to drive your car to your destination.
