A puggle is a mix between a pug and a beagle. Before buying a puppy ensure that the mother and father are both in good health and have attractive features.

Look into the genetics of the parents. If you are paying a lot of money for a puggle puppy than make sure that the parents do not have any genetic diseases. You should look for tests on hips, elbow, eyes, and heart. Most puggle breeders who do these tests will charge more for their puppies

Ensure that your dog is the right color. Most puggles are tan or fawn with some black and white markings. Some puggles are also tri-colour.

You also don't want your puggle to be too big. When the puggles are puppies you will not be able to tell how big they will get, but there are clues. Look at the parents, if the parents are big, the puppies generally will be bigger. Also look at the paws of the puppies, usually bigger paws means the puppy will be bigger.
