, shoes, appliances, etc. mobile phones also have different styles that will fit your needs. When it comes to picking the phone for you, you should consider what phone style will best compliment you and if that kind of style would fit you. From slim phones to bulky ones, from cellphones with antennae to ones with flip style. With cellphones, there are countless and endless features and functionalities. Here are some tips about the different mobile phone styles and the pros and cons that goes with them.

Okay, phones come in different shapes and sizes. Some phones are very small that they it won't even cover your whole hand. On the other hand, some phones are quite big that you need two hands to operate it. But when it comes to mobile phone styles, there are tons out there to choose from. The most common cellphones styles are as follows:

1. Flip phones. From the word itself, you need to flip the phone since the monitor and the keypad are placed parallel of each other. Usually with the flip phone, the whole upper part of the phone contains the LCD while the lower half contains the keypad. Most of the flip phones have bigger keypad than other phone models since the whole keypad is placed in a different platform with the LCD. Flip phone designs are quote handy if you are one who tends to put things in their pockets, since the phone is flipped and closed, then it prevents accidental dialing and also lessens the scratches on it. When calling, flip phones tend to cradle your head, fitting itself therefore many people consider it comfortable.

2. Candybar phones. The most common design that you see in the market is the Candybar design. They are considered to be the most practical and sturdiest of the cellphone design. the candybar design is very simple, both the LCD and keypad are all in one platform so it's quite a space saver. Candybar phones also vary in thickness. Many candybar models adapt to the slim factor in which the thickness of the phones goes below 2-3 cm. The candybar plus the slim factor is quite convenient and a space saver. Most people prefer the candybar model since it's practical and compact. Some keypads are quite small and so does the screen so it all depends on the manufacturer. Some candybars have adapted to having a bigger screen since most people prefer it especially when surfing the net, watching movies and looking at photos.

3. Slide phones. These are the models where you can see just the LCD or monitor on top and when you "slide" it up or to the side you can see the keypad hidden beneath. The slide phones are more bulky and is thicker compared to the flip and candybar models. Similar to the flip model, the slide phone's LCD and keypad are in separate platforms. The problem with this model is that the repetitive sliding to separate the monitor from the keypad tends to easily damage the slide, which is also a problem with flip phones.

These are just the most common mobile phone designs, other designs such as the swivel phone are also available in the market but you can rarely see them. Now you know the most common mobile designs, it's up to you to take your pick on which design would fit your lifestyle and of course your personality.
