Solution 5: The issue related to Windows Explorer could also be due to missing or corrupt files. To identify corrupt files follow these troubleshooting steps.
Click on Start menu and then type cmd in the search option. You will find cmd.exe in the results. Now Run as administrator. Here you will be asked for the administrator passwords, then click on continue after that. When the command prompt comes in, type sfc/scannow and then ht on Enter
Even after trying all these the problem still exists then you can try this last option. Go to Start menu and follow up by clicking on organize. Here you will see drop down pop up menu. There you will find a folder option at the right hand upper corner. Click on view there and select always show icons, never thumbnails. This will help you hopefully!
