To me one of the most frustrating symptoms of an infection is having itchy vag lips

This is because while you are reducing the amount of "bad" bacterial causing the infection you are killing the "good" bacteria that help you fight against get another one. Replenishing the "good" bacteria with the use of probiotics can help but it does take some time. Eating yogurt or even applying yogurt vaginally can help speed the process.

Ultimately killing off the all the candida in your entire body is the best thing to do for a yeast infection or any other form of candida infection. Curing a candida infection like this cures all the signs of a yeast infection that you may not have recognized were causing you problems, things like joint pain, chronic fatigue and weight gain just to name a few.
