, lie, steal? Whatever you did, your relationship couldn't withstand it. So what do you do now? You're lost and probably didn't mean for things to turn out the way they did. You sit there thinking about how to get back with an ex. Depending upon what you've done, there are a few steps that need to be taken.

Let's say you cheated and got caught. It takes a lot to come back from this. When you got caught, all the trust your love had for you went right out the window. If they will even speak to you again, things will never be the same. They will probably hurt forever, but will find some way to forgive you. If they still stick by your side, then you should be nothing but thankful and grateful.

If you lied, that's a lot easier to get around than if you cheated. Lying is pretty bad, but infidelity is the ultimate worse. You can come back from lying. Apologize and explain your reasons for lying. After this, you will have to go the distance to get the other person's trust back.

The first thing you need to do is apologize. To your love, it will probably mean nothing, but it's a start and it's the least you can do. Now it's time for the excuses. You really have some explaining to do. The number one question is why. You better have a good one!

Now comes the all time favorite: cheating. Cheating is the worst of the worst. This can break up marriages and long lasting relationships. If you feel you have to cheat on the person you are with, talk about the things you are having problems with before you go out and do something that you will regret in the long run and will not be able to take back.

Phone calls and texts don't go hand in hand with this situation any more. The other person may not answer the phone because they feel there is nothing left to say. With that said, even though they may not hold a conversation on the phone with you, they are probably willing to text. If you don't get a response, don't be too surprised.

Bring them lunch on the job. Take them on a vacation. Just you and them. Communication means so much. Talk to them even though you feel they are not listening or ignoring you. They can hear you, they just choose not to show any emotion. Depending on how deep the situation goes, you really might have to cater to them.
