How To Learn Deep Meditation
What is Meditation?
What is Meditation?
Meditation can be thought of as greatly directed concentration, but a portion of the population whom meditate practice clearing their thoughts from exterior disruptive or hindering ideas. When beginning meditation this is a proper focus to start with and you will greatly benefit if you occasionally continue this method even after you have mastered the basics. After doing this for a while you are ready to begin sharpening your skills with visualization.
Visualization is the imagery of your imagination, The more you try this the more clear the objects will become. I have often discovered where I had lost an item by visualizing where I had placed it but this is just the tip of the ice berg of what you can accomplish with visualization, and this extends to all your senses.
Asking questions of yourself!
You should begin questioning your subconscious for resolutions. When you ask acquaintances for answers to some dilemma they are not as interested in giving a worthy response as you are in attaining one.
as you become more skilled in clearing your thoughts of external issues you will become more ready to hear your subconscious when it provides resolutions you ask of it. you may think I am joking but you recall your first diaper change, every joy, and every other experience you ever had.
This might not be readily available to your conscious mind but the details are still there and available for use by your unconscious mind to utilize in providing resolutions. it not only does this but processes data much more quickly and efficient than the conscious mind is able to.
Ever forget the name of an actor in a movie and it really bothered you? Then after a little time went by, his name just popped into your mind? That was your subconscious providing his name to you and this example is just one way resources from your subconscious mind can surface.
One Method to get you started:
Find a location without racket or other annoyances, assume a relaxed position, shut your eyes and start breathing in from your nose and exhaling from your mouth, holding your breath for a couple seconds (or whatever is a comfortable duration) between breaths, this is going to get you started in setting a rhythm and it is also providing your brain more oxygen.
Continuously breathe in this fashion throughout the meditation. Now start to visualize a powered of monitor screen no blinking led, no pretty graphics filling the screen. With continued practice you should be able to keep images from filling the screen. now start paying attention to the weight of your body and start easing your muscles.
On every outward breath relax everything a bit more. If you seem to have issues relaxing your body parts, tense them for a couple seconds (but not in excess you don't want cramping) and then release the tension and focus on the sensation of how that feels.
Great, you should now be able to relax yourself a bit more with each exhale. When you get the sensation of drifting or floating you have achieved self guided light meditation.
Now continue this for a predetermined amount of time (use a cook timer if needed the ticking won't hurt anything) and you when you have finished you will have just taken your first voyage into meditation.
You should practice this at least three times a week for a month and then begin changing the focus to some other random object . When the visualization become razor sharp you're now ready to begin Deep Meditation where you use it for a purpose.
If trying to remember things or grasp new concepts that seem to elude you, allow yourself time the solutions will manifest themselves when you least expect it so long as your desire for the solution continues.
