So youve found your holy grail perfume and you have come to wonder what took you so long to discover it

. Your friends, family and colleagues (even some random strangers) throw you compliments on how great you smell. Everythings perfect until you realized that your perfumes scent evaporates faster than the speeding light! Okay, thats taking it a bit too far but its such a bummer when your perfume leaves you in a sad oblivion. Dont waste your perfume anymore. Im going to give you some tips on how to make your perfumes last for hours on end.

Notice how your favorite perfume has an accompanying shower gels and/or body lotions almost all the time? Dont worry, perfume companies are not trying to rip you off by purchasing these scent peripherals for no reason at all. Think of it as a face primer your makeup will not slide off half way through the day when you use this because its purpose is to keep and hold your makeup together. The same thing goes with these shower gels and body lotions which meant to be used as a layering agent to make your scent last longer. The scent of a perfume disappears faster when applied to bare skin. The key is to use the shower gel during bath time and then apply the lotion. Spray on your favorite perfume while your skin is still a bit moist from the lotion you applied. The perfume will still fade away even if you do this but the difference is that it wont disappear right away. You will notice that the longevity of your perfumes scent will almost double that it did compared to when you were wearing it alone. If you dont have the accompanying shower gel or lotion, you can just take a regular bath and then apply an unscented lotion instead. The unscented lotion will still be able to hold your perfumes scent from disappearing fast.

Dabbing perfume on your pulse points will develop the scent of your perfume to the next level. The most common pulse points are the wrists, dcolletage, at the back of the ears and behind the knees and arms. These are the parts of our bodies where blood vessels are near the skin which makes those parts warmer than the rest. The heat enhances and releases the scent of your perfume which helps in making its projection greater than ever before.

Weve all seen TV or movie characters spraying perfume into the air and then steps on it like theyre running towards the love of their life for a sweet embrace and kiss. Yeah, that looks kind of corny but that actually is effective in making sure that your scent wraps your upper body evenly and gently. Scent is said to travel upwards so concentrate on those pulse points found on your upper body.
