When you look at other couples around you are you thinking that their marriage is like the one you want to have? Do not let this picture fool you
. This loving couple you see might be the farthest from the truth. There are so many couples that will keep their problems to themselves. You might see this loving couple when in truth they are on the verge of filing for divorce. They think that what happen in the home are private and is to stay private. You might hear someone talking about their marriage as it being the best thing but in reality it is not. Woman do this but men will brag more often and their stories might be just a way to save face.
Is your marriage based on intimacy or just the sex? If truth be known most marriages start out because of the sex. You need to be in sync with each other in all aspects of your union or you might find that this union is not going to work. You might not be able to find this intimacy with your first try. If this is you never give up as you will find the right person. Remember that along with intimacy you need to trust this other person. There are several things that any relationship needs but without the trusting part you will find yourself having problems. Even your friends that think they are helping you with a problem can and usually will only make it worse.
With this person you happen to be with it might not hurt to have friendship mixed in with whatever this situation is. You will need to respect your other person as you would want them to respect you. In other words you want to be a self contained unit with being this way you will find that you are the happiest. It is not a good idea to dwell on your past with this new person as doing this will make both of you very unhappy and make you both think that you are not totally into this new relationship. It is important to be totally honest with each other in every aspect. Doing this will set the stage for a happy marriage or relationship as you will be able to think on nothing else but just you.
With any relationship you want love, respect, playfulness, honesty and still be able to keep yourself. Remember that you must never give yourself up by running the chance that you could lose yourself. You get into any relationship simply to not be alone.
