Take the cables that need to be spliced and cut one inch of each from the ends. This will make sure that you have fresh and clean wire.
Slide one of the ends of the cable into the big opening of the cable stripper; twist it to remove the outer insulation and the mesh wire. Now turn the stripper over and put in the cable to the other end. Remove the insulation by twisting the stripper again. Repeat this step again.
Slide one of the male connectors to one end of the cable and do it with other cable. You can use the crimping tool to squeeze down to the bottom of the connector.
Screw one end of the male cable to the barrel connector and do the same to the other end of the barrel connector with the other male connector. To tighten the connections use the pliers.
Wrap the connection with the electrical tape, starting from one end to another.
