I used to get off track so many times in my business and the reason was always a lack of self-discipline to carry out my plan of action. I would always seem to have the best of intentions but when it came to the daily disciplines I would always have this voice on my shoulder telling me that I do not have to do them today, they can wait until tomorrow. The truth is we all have this voice.

The first thing I do is to set daily, monthly, and yearly goals. I always write these goals down on paper and read them often. I have learned that to overcome self-discipline in my online network marketing business I need to focus on completing my daily goals. This is called the power of completion. Whenever I complete a task my self-esteem goes up and I feel better about myself. This simple act of completion will help to self motivate myself to complete the rest of my goals.

When I find that I am daily completing my goals it builds a tremendous force of momentum in my business. Every activity that I do on a daily basis compounds so that at the end of one week I have built up seven days worth of positive activities. This is why it is so important to complete things in your online network marketing business. And the simple fact is it does not have to be major accomplishments every day it just needs to be consistent small accomplishments. The final power that I harness to overcome self-discipline in my business is the power of rewards. This is simply rewarding myself with certain accomplishments in my business. We all need to feel and touch the fruit of our labor and enjoy our success.
