Therefore, the need of the hour is to educate people with anti-smoking campaigns so that they can kick this habit in the initial stages itself. This might be relaxing for the smoker but in the end, it causes serious damage to the body and its movements. However, after some time the nicotine level decreases and the smoker feels irritated and loses self-control. This is when the smoker starts to take another round of puff for increasing the nicotine levels in their blood. Ultimately, such actions lead to addiction to nicotine. The person developing such a habit cannot get rid of it easily. Sometimes people get addicted in such a manner that they smoke 10 or more cigarettes in a day. With the passage of time, there are effects such as teeth staining, bad breath, and stain on fingers and other parts of the skin. The clothes and environment of the smoker has a nauseating smoking kind of atmosphere attached to it. Cardiovascular diseases and decrease in the efficiency of lungs also kick in. The risk of illness increases. Therefore, it is important to avoid smoking by developing self-control and discipline. It is important not to imitate friends or colleagues who try to display smoking as a good habit. Whenever you feel the urge to smoke, try to eat something that is beneficial for the body. Try making friends with people who do not smoke. When you do not come in contact with smokers, the chances of you getting rid of this habit is much more. Nurture a great hobby and do some work, which keeps you relaxed when you feel, stressed. Keep it in mind that wasting money on the smoking activity will not help you.
