Hyderabad Airport connects flights like Jet Airways, SpiceJet, Go Air and Indigo to Chennai. These are economical as well as affordable. They reach Chennai within 1 hour.

There are several trains pass through Chennai from Hyderabad. Hyderabad Express, Kanchiguda Express and Charminar Express reach Chennai in 12 hours. The charges for these trains are around Rs. 300/- for sleeper.

Bus is an option to travel from Hyderabad to Chennai. There are frequent private and Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation buses with luxury facilities connect the two cities. These buses have AC and Semi-sleeper facilities and they charge around Rs. 320/- to Rs. 450/-.

If you have your own vehicle it takes approximately 9 hours 20 minutes to cover the distance of 626 km depending upon the vehicle you hire. Though tiring, the journey is very much adventurous.
