The lens will then stick to the cup and will be easily removed from the eyes. But for soft contact lenses you should follow these simple steps to remove the lens stuck in your eyes. This is mainly due the contact lens getting dry. Removing soft contact lenses is a bit trickier as you have to use your fingers to remove the lens. Firstly clean your hands and remember there is nothing to panic. Secondly, use a lot of saline solution on the effected eye as this process will help you get relieved from the irritation in the eyes. Thirdly, it is a quite common factor that if you are using soft contact lenses then it is advisable to close your eyes for the lens to reappear. But for the people who are wearing hard contact lenses allow the lens to dry as it will then come out easily. You can even try to lower your eyelid with the help of your index finger and try and remove the lens in the usual manner with the help of your finger. You have to look upwards while removing your lens but if it is too painful then it is better to use anesthesia. In case of soft contact lenses stuck in your eyes it is better to keep lubricating your eyes so that it is easy to remove but in case you are facing to much difficulty to remove your lens it is advisable to contact your ophthalmologist as soon as possible.
