To do this, he must get a lead rope and a fitting halter first. Then, he must catch his horse and place the halter on it. However, he must make sure that it is the right size for his horse.

Then, he must get the lead rope and begin touching his horse with it. He must pull it crossways the back of the horse and its hindquarters. Next, he must try to walk along with his horse. It must also be lead in a few directions that include sharp turns, back ups, and forward movements. Then, it must be stopped on different spots by pulling it downwards.
