How To Troubleshoot The Feeder
There are chiefly four types of feeders in Hongxing
. The Disk feeder is feeding equipment and it can feed the material to next procedure evenly and continuously.
Disk feeder
The finished product is calculated by cubage. It is suitable for feeding various materials of non stickiness, such as ore, coal, cement, Chalmette, limestone, clutch etc and not suitable for high flowing property powder materials.
Pendulum feeder
It is suitable for Concentrator, coal, chemical industry and other departments. It is the device for transferring materials from the storage bin to receiving equipments.
The pendulum feeder is not suitable for delivering the dry powder or big grain material, it may result in the dust pollution and the jam of the discharging holes.
Chute feeder
The chute feeder can be installed on the ground or onto discharge port of ore bin. The chute bottom plates do the reciprocating movement, the movement frequency is 20-60 times/min and the stroke is 20-200mm. Stroke can be adjusted by the eccentric wheel; the eccentric throw is half of the stroke. According to experience of some mine sites, the eccentric throw should no less than 30mm for cohesive ore. The chute width is 2-2.5 times of maximum feeding granularity. The biggest chute feeder can supply ore with granularity less than 500mm. the most common specification is 980*1240 chute feeder, with feeding granularity between 350-0mm, which is the best partner of 400*600

Vibrating feeder
Vibrating feeder can feed block or granule materials from the material storage to charging device evenly and continuously. It can realize even feeding for crushers in sandstone production line and make rough screening for materials. Widely applied in combined operation of crushing and screening in the industries like metallurgy, mine, mine selection, building materials, chemicals, etc.
Here we will introduce the solutions for troubleshooting the feeder with overload. The resistance moment will increase and the belt of the hopper will skid when the equipment overloads. At this time, you should reduce the feeding rate and keep feeding uniformly. If the situation does not get better and the belt of the hopper still skids, you should consider that the base is very likely to be blocked by the accumulation of the material. At this point, you should stop to double-check to identify the reasons to troubleshoot the feeder. If the resistance moment increases and the belt of the hopper skids because of the inefficient rotating of the bearings of the head wheel and end wheel, you need unpick and wash and fuel the bearings or replace it. When the material at the discharge location is not completely unloaded out of the machine and part of the material will be back to the base of the feeder, the production efficiency will be reduced and the power consumption and the crushing rate of the material will increase.
You must not delay or neglect these phenomena. In addition, the daily operation and the maintenance work is also essential, which is helpful to reduce the occurrence of these failures to a certain extent.
