Play DVD on Mac Step 1: Download, install, then launch DVDFab Mac Blu-ray Player
The latest version of DVDFab Mac BLu-ray Player is available at http://www.dvdfab.com/mac-blu-ray-player.htm. Just download it then install it on your Mac. After the installation, click its desktop shortcut to launch it.
Play DVD on Mac Step 2: Insert DVD for loading
Once the player is launched, you can see an Open File option and a Settings option on the main interface of the UI (note that the Settings option is the one with the icon looks like a gear in the top right corner).
Open File is used to open movie files, not discs, so were not using it. However, if you want to set up ahead of anything, you can click Settings option to set the way of play, video, audio, subtitles, etc.
OK. Without further ado, now lets insert the DVD disc into DVD drive for the player to load it. Seconds later when loading process is completed, you can see the DVD icon right beside Open File.

While movie is being played, you can easily control play at a control bar brought about by hovering mouse on the bottom of the screen. Pause, Stop, Play, Volume up, Volume Down, Fast forward, and Fast backward, everything is under your control.
And full screen can be set at the top control bar which will pop up when hovering mouse on the top part of the screen.
If right click on the screen, a settings panel will be produced. At this panel, you can open another DVD disc, open another movie or video file that is saved on your Mac, set audio and sbubtitles, control the play, and so on.
