How to wall mount TV
Choose a location; take into account where most of your viewers will be sitting. The middle of the TV should be close eye-level of the viewer. If mounting into concrete or brick you can mount anywhere on the wall. If you will be mounting your TV in drywall you need to use a stud finder to locate your wall stud.
Use a pencil to draw a line where the middle of your TV will be in the location on the wall that you have picked, this line should be level with the ground. Put the mount wall plate to the line you drew on the wall. Mark where you will drill holes for the wall plate.
Drill holes in the points that you marked and anchor the wall mount to the wall using the hardware that is included in your TV wall mount. If you are mounting into drywall the anchors must be drilled into the wall studs to support the weight from the TV.
Put a cover or towel on the floor and place your TV screen face down on the cover or towel so the back of the TV is facing you. Attach the supplied mounting brackets to the back of the TV. Some model TVs will have removable caps covering the mounting holes; use a flat-head screwdriver or other tool to pull them out. Use the included hardware to securely attach the mounting brackets to the TV. Make sure everything is tight and slowly pull up on the mount to verify it is secure and is bearing the weight of the TV. You may need a second person to help you place the TV on the wall mount.
