Paradentosis is the inflammation of the gums surrounding the teeth. It can cause pain and much discomfort. It is brought about by bacteria infection, which slowly damages the root canal of our teeth. If continuously neglected, paradentosis can cause teeth to loosen and finally fall out.

Unfortunately, paradentosis could be a bit hard to detect. The signs are not very visible as of yet, not unless the person starts to have the feeling of their teeth loosening and their gums are severely sore and swollen.
Paradentosis could start from gingivitis, which is the swelling of gums. Sometimes people don't even know they have gingivitis until they feel their gums irritated and swollen. If examined closely, the gums are purplish in color and could be bleeding. When gingivitis becomes worse and neglected then it could lead to a more severe case of gum disease, which is now known as paradontitis.
