One of the biggest problems that a traveller would usually face is the worry that the weather in the country he/she is travelling to would be difficult to adjust to, especially if it's on another continent and has a very different climate. You would then have to give a lot of thought to which time of the year you should travel during if you want to make the most out of your holiday and this could be quite troublesome as you may not get leave when you want to travel and so on. This is not usually a problem in the case of Bali however. Bali is one of Indonesia's tropical islands and is in such a location from the equator that makes it attract visitors at all times of the year.

The weather in Bali can be categorized into just two types; the dry season and the wet season. Bali does not have four seasons like countries in the west, and the temperature usually fluctuates between 24 degrees and 32 degrees. This is what makes it most appealing to its visitors. There is no need to worry about snow or extremely dry climates although it could rain at any time of the year. You could however experience some severe rainfall when the wet season is at its peak and this could to an extent to disrupt your plans for the day. It is best therefore, that you always come prepared for rainy weather.

Bali experiences a lot of humidity from October to around February as this is the wet season. If you are travelling during this period, you might want to ensure that you carry and wear light clothing such as cotton pants and dresses and other items that would go with the weather.

The best months to visit Bali would be from April to the end of august. This is when the temperature is at its coolest and there is quite a breeze making it more comfortable for you to travel around sightseeing. Temperatures may however vary in different parts of the island, with temperatures going down quite low in the highlands rather than in the lower coastal areas. The temperature is however always bearable and never goes to either extreme. This means that you could escape to areas of higher elevation, such as Ubud, if you feel you are unable to take the dry whether in lower areas. This therefore provides a lot of flexibility and you could switch between days at the beach and days in the hills and so on.

The weather therefore makes Bali an ideal spot to travel to with your family or on your honeymoon at any time of the year, although it is best if you could find out before hand the weather and temperatures of the island, so that you would know what to expect and when to plan your journey.

This type of weather ensures the traveller that he/she would be able to have access to the beach and will be able to check out the breathtaking views of the rice fields and hilly mountain areas and lush greenery whenever he/she decides to visit. You would not have to sacrifice or forego the desire to see or experience a particular place just because you visited during the wrong time of the year.
