. You want to be the nice guy, cause that is just who you are, but at the same time... you know that nice guys usually end up finishing last when it comes to dating. So, some guys either assume that they are always going to have tough luck when it comes to attracting women, or, they decide to start acting like a jerk to get attention from women. My friend used to be a bouncer in a nightclub for awhile, and I used to go out there once in a blue moon to hang out and take in a night of just having fun, meeting women. I'll never forget this one time I met this girl, she was really good looking, and she had come to the club with this guy who was just a friend. All night long, she was flirting with this guy and that guy, and her friend was constantly doing little favors for her just to make her feel "comfortable."

Though she was pretty, she wasn't my type, I found another girl that night. But, I did spot her go home with some guy she met that night, and her guy friend that probably spent a good $ 50 plus his time and energy? He went home alone. You can be the nice guy and not bend over backwards like that to get her to like you. It doesn't make you feel good, and it usually ends up with you getting the short end of the stick.
