How to Clean Your Titanium Ring?

Titanium rings have become very popular these days

. Men are more attracted towards them especially due to their sturdy looks and robust design. The metal has become a popular choice for jewelry making as it is considered as the hardest metal in the world. It is thrice as strong as steel, and lighter than aluminum. The metal is scratch resistant and 100% hypoallergenic. Though it does not require a lot of maintenance, unlike gold or silver, cleaning it frequently can keep it looking new for several years.

While cleaning your titanium ring, some of the things that you would need include a soft cloth, warm water, bowl, mild soap and baby toothbrush.

First of all, you need to fill the bowl with lukewarm soapy water. You can use as much of soap as you wish but remember not to add any kind of harsh detergent to it. You can use a face wash gel if you wish. This can cause discoloration in case you have a colored titanium ring.

Wash the jewelry properly in the warm soap water. If you have more than one ring then submerge them all together. You can then use a soft baby toothbrush to remove any grime or dust residue on the ornament. Try circular motion, do not scrub too hard. Be as smooth and gentle as you can. Again, if you have a colored titanium ring then it would be better if you use a soft cloth instead of a brush.

After you are done, just rinse the titanium ring with warm water. At this time, you must continue to hold the jewelry piece over the bowl, so that you do not lose it in case it is dropped accidently.

Now, dry the ring completely. Wipe the jewelry with a soft and clean piece of cloth. You can even blow dry air to it for about 15 minutes. After you have dried it already, just place the ring on top of a clean cloth, in a safe place.

One of the biggest advantages of having titanium rings is that it does not get corroded due to salt water. It also does not get affected by the body oil. Hence, it can be safely worn at all times. Though the metal is perfect for rough use and can be worn always, cleaning it at time can surely keep it looking beautiful and new for a longer time.
