The name that you chose for your domain must not already be in use by someone else, If so, you will have to choose another name. A domain is the address or names that point to and open your website. The file that you saved in the HTML editor will be uploaded to your hosting company using your ftp application. A very popular ftp client is FileZilla which is a free download.
Publish Your Website
Drum roll please. Here is where we introduce your creation to the world. When you opened your host account, the host company will issue you an ip address of the server that will host your website. The ip address is a unique 4 octet number that will in this case allow you to connect to the host server, for ex...92.32.212.130. Once connected to the host server you will upload the file that is your website content and voila, you are online.
