EBay is an opened market and anybody can place their bids on your products. This is good as your chances of selling your product for a higher price are significantly increasing with the number of people bidding on it. However, not all buyers are honest people who will pay for the products they have bided on. Such delicate cases should be treated with delicacy. Here is what you should do if one of your clients received the product, but did not pay for it. The best recommendation I can give is treat your customers with respect, no matter of the situation I which you are in. Throwing out insults and threats will not serve your purpose and may make you look very unprofessional. Plus, it will significantly lower your chances of ever getting your money or your product back. There are two types of clients who do not pay their bids. The first ones are those who have completely forgotten that they have closed a deal on eBay and have to pay for the product they have purchased. If you see that more than a week has passed form the time you have sent the confirmation email and you still have no answer form your buyer, you should send him another email or contact him by phone. Remind him politely that he has a debt to you. If he has really forgotten about it, this will be the only thing you will have to do to get your money. If you do not receive your money after this reminder, you can try another time and if this time is as successful as the first one, you can report the buyer to eBay. You have from 7 to 45 day to do this. EBay Resolution Center will get the case and will chase the buyer. However, many eBay users say that this it does not worth the effort and if you start such a confrontation, the buyer may seek revenge and give you a negative feedback which will seriously affect your credibility in front of other clients. Even if you choose to eBay Resolution Center or you do not, you should put a ban on that buyer, so that he will not be able to place bids on the products you are selling.
