Stay confident. This is one of the most attractive traits in a man. A lot of things can help build confidence: new clothes, a fresh haircut, career success, a fancy car, or anything that you enjoy that makes you happy. Take care of yourself, and do things that you like, and you'll be be on your way to a more confident life.

Keep a good sense of humor. Most women don't like our "guy humor", as I like to call it. The one about the naked pirate with the wooden leg probably won't win her over. I'm not saying you need to memorize a book of classy jokes, but an upbeat attitude with a lot of smiles and laughs can go a long way.

Keep a little physical contact. I don't want you physically harass the poor girl; what I mean by physical contact is more along the lines of a light touch on the side of the arm, a pat on the shoulder, or fingertips to the small of her back. These are all innocent areas that still help break barriers and make women more comfortable with you.
