To have consistency in your home business you need to be generating 30-50 leads a day that's right per day. These leads need to be targeted and high quality. Now a little side note. In the world of leads, quality doesn't have to mean expensive.

Most people start off their business trying to market on social media sites like: facebook, twitter, youtube, linkedin etc. If youhave ever tried this, you will know that it's not a very effective means of marketing. Direct response is responding directly to someone's needs, in this case, someone is entering a search for a solution to their needs you show up in ad form telling them you have what they are looking for.

The most important thing about this is that the prospect is in a buyer's state of mind'.

You remember how difficult it is to generate leads on social networks. That's because they are not there to buy. They didn't log on looking for the answers to their inner most needs. They just went there to hang out.

Now what you need to do is convert those leads into sales. You do this by giving value and building trust. How? Well, the easiest form of this is article marketing, blog posts and social media. Don't confuse the two processes.

What this means is you need realistic and up to date marketing training. Someone who can show you the steps to take in order for you to achieve success.
